Hell yeah!! It was so intense. I remember crying a few times, as a kid during certain scenes haha. I'm kind of amazed it got past the usual strict YA guidelines for how dark, violent and political it was.

Animorphs. It was way ahead of any other YA novels at the time I still remember where I was when I read certain scenes, even 20 years later. Just a fantastic series.

🏳️‍⚧️AND the author is outspoken for trans rights (including that of her own trans kid)
