I was upset but I also understood why they did it.
There was an arguement that the football we were playing contributed to the injuries at the time due to the intensity and also finishing as low as we did was a big outlier.
Hindsight tells us the injuries were clearly down to something else.

Atletico have clearly watered the pitch to give their small nippy forwards a chance against our big nippy defenders and it has worked.
