Migrated from the hell hole and found it much better for my mental health here. I live a quiet retired life in rural Suffolk, UK with Himself who is finally working part-time in the wind down to retirement, 12 yr old arthritic dog, 2 cats and 3 chickens.
I'm not bothering with Hamnet. I read the book and wasn't very impressed. Found it heavy going. Was disappointed as I used to really like the author Maggie O'Farrell's earlier work but haven't enjoyed her more recent stuff and a couple I gave up with.
He's not "accused of a U turn" Pippa he has actually done a U turn when he realised he's on the unpopular sidemand worried about how that will affect his grift. Please will you report it accurately.

Saw it this afternoon and we really enjoyed it too. A proper British feel good film. I'm sure it will be added to the list of films I can watch again and again and one to choose when feeling in need of cheering up.
Morning. The fog has pretty well lifted at last and can see glimmers of sun so 🤞 for better weather. Busy day ahead. Coffee and a sheep, budgie, quail care refresher with my friend along the lane as looking after them next week. Then this pm off to see Mother's Pride in Bury St E. Looks amusing.
A friend I was out with yesterday is having similar issues trying to get an oil delivery. When you live in the country you have little choice but to have oil or LPG and have to find huge amounts in one go. We have LPG and have a fixed contract for 2 years at same price but feel for those with oil.
Oh poor Lottie. It's horrible seeing our beloved pets age and having to live with horrible conditions which they can't understand. Hope she's a bit brighter today.

Well I suppose we do though I've a big cupboard drawer in the utility room downstairs where I store loo cleaner, surface cleaner etc and the loo rolls go in a basket in the downstairs shower room and I just take up ones to replenish the bathroom upstairs 😅
