I ran a little fundraiser of my own for the same cause a month ago and I am starting the first abstract embroidery this weekend! If you have any questions about how any of these are sewn hit me with them and I will try and make a little recording of myself sewing for you 💜
I made a discord for my embroidery kits that's gone a bit quiet - would any OFMD embroiderers be interested in joining? I love ALL textile crafts but I think it would be nice to keep it active as a shared embroidery space for people to post WIPs etc.

Let's talk polymer clay! It's hard to capture just how pretty the colours are in these, so hopefully a thread of zoomable pics will help. I made and sold polymer clay earrings many years ago, but I'd never heard of the Bargello technique until recently, and I immediately had to use it.

Everyone, I can only tell you all how BEAUTIFUL this is in person. It's on the wall right now and I'm enjoying it here as long as I can before someone wins this and gets it forever. It's stunning. Little gold accents and the details are so crisp and well-done.
