Proud of our New Mexico U.S. Representatives for not voting for a resolution honoring a racist and fascist. It shows that at least some of our democratic leaders have some sense.

This is a distraction from more than just the fascist and Epstein-friendly administraton that is in office.

In New Mexico, we’re heading into an election and special session that can have real local change. That’s where I’ll be.

Yet, I will not sit here and be silent while others rewrite the legacy of a homophobe, racist, and fascist. By “others” I mean everyone, Republicans, Democrats, and those in between.

And if you’re sharing that lie, I’ve already taken the steps to unfollow you, you should do the same.

I do know that just a few months ago a democratic lawmaker was assassinated and I did not see the same empathy or condemnatiion from POTUS, the GOP, or some of my social media circles.

We don’t even have the full story. Yet again, we are allowing Trump and the GOP to define us.

Every leader and democrat I know of has condemned the assassination. I haven’t seen anyone celebrating the crime.

Time for the Democatic Parties of every State to be proactive. The time is now, not when we’ve lost.

Democrats shouldn’t stop at redrawing congressional maps. Every democratic state needs to redraw their legislatures. Show Republicans what happens when you fuck with democracy.
