Talarico has preached religion at nearly every available opportunity. It’s a constitutional right to be governed without respect to religion. I am far from convinced that he will do that as he’s repeatedly shown the opposite by continuing to put his religion front & center.

I’m not the one making excuses for someone who has, as a rule, not as an exception, repeatedly used his high profile to preach. You’re not offended because he represents your religion. I’d wager if the amount of speeches he’s made centered on Islam or any religion that wasn’t yours, it would grate.

I have no use for any politician that cannot maintain a separation of church and state. Period.
