Yesterday I announced that I would make a "cot of poffee" and that's when I decided it was time to lie down.
The news is a lot and so much of this hits harder since becoming a parent, in ways I couldn't have fathomed before. But today my toddler made my baby laugh and vice versa and that will fuel me for a while.
Getting an eye exam for the first time in my adult life (I know) and as soon as I get there their computers go down. I really gotta start keeping track of how often this happens to me.
Not to be dramatic but I'd do anything for him.
My dentist canceled my appointment tomorrow and if that's not the best version of someone else canceling plans you didn't want to go to anyway, idk what is.

In true Seattle fashion, I was talking to a woman on the other team while we waited for play to restart and she said, "hey at least it stopped raining!" And I had to break it to her that it actually was still drizzling. And we both laughed that she just hadn't noticed.
I said several years ago that I was too old to be playing outdoor soccer during the winter season and that's still true actually. My butt was frozen.
