I loved that show, it was a shame how it ended with hooks laid but no real big finale.
The pumpkins on the beach on the cover of this one don't really look right, the books by this author have a very AI vibe.
No mention of optimal location (outside Tastee Freez), gtfo.

We biked to get penny candy in my town. The space where the little general store used to be is now mixed-use industrial which is amazing for the town's revenue base. Also the woman who owned the store (not sure about her husb) was racist. (I don't live there but my sis chairs the historical society)
The library is here for you. We've always been resisting subjection.
Hello I also went to AB!
Yay!
One of mine worked for Western Electric helping site and building telecom factories and the other was a bit of a raconteur, a stockbroker and an antiques dealer and ran the Hudson Manhattan Railway for a very brief time.
Thank you very much for this. Please make sure you add alt text to your text-based images so everyone on this platform can see your good ideas.
I've seen them in my backyard in Vermont some nights and I always wave and say "keep on eating ticks little buddy"
She was kind of fired. Now let's abolish ICE.
I like to think they have staffers who hate them who set all this stuff up.
And people like three simple-sounding campaign promises.
A ballot showing two options for monkey and robot and a write-in line. The write in line has a crayon drawing of a gecko and the word "gecko" written in on the write-in line.
This election did not go how I was expecting. Seahorse dominated their race, getting eight votes to starfish's two. Monkey got ZERO votes, robot only got two, tied with axolotl (what?), with one write-in each for duck, t-rex, gecko and zebra.
congratulations and how great for both you and the Bluesky team.
Showing up. Showing up on time. Showing up on time prepared.
Good for them.

Somehow missed your reading list before. This looks great and I'll read it. (also agreed with you about Enshittification - there was enough of Cory's voice in the text version of it, can't imagine the audiobook version)
Yeah I've spoken to him about that specifically and he said "They won't bother with us..." as a way of saying he wasn't going on record, imo. And yes, not good enough.
NOT THE WHITE GLOVES AAAAAAAA.
I feel like there could be an entire podcast "Your movie fucked up this library scene. Three librarians discuss how you could have done it so much better."
Agreed. One of the things I love about being on my town's Board of Abatement is sometimes we can give them money BACK. So good.
Imagine living in a hamlet so upstate that they have to tell you how far it is from MANHATTAN as a way to indicate where it is. Like they could have said it's 30 miles west of Coxsackie, home of Owls Hoot Barn. Missed opportunities abound.
That is looking so sharp. A great day for plants today.
My friends had this on the wall my entire childhood.
Our police chief is a nice guy but very very expensive.
