Number of older adults who lost $100,000 or more to fraud has tripled since 2020, FTC says Adults age 60 and older are especially devastated by big fraud losses because they have less scope to recover those funds.

This number is shocking and sadly too many older Americans lose money to fraud and scams. Social isolation, unusual payment methods and feeling urgency are all red flags. Be there for an elderly friend or family member. This number is just heartbreaking. www.cnbc.com/2024/11/18/n....
