International Women's Day celebrated at St Albans Museums
Today, on #InternationalWomensDay, we’re taking a moment to recognise Tessa Wheeler, who led the 1930s excavations at Verulamium.
With the Rose & Crown dig underway, her work is a reminder of the long line of women involved in uncovering St Albans’ past - including those working on site today!
Ahead of #InternationalWomensDay here’s a Women’s History Month highlight.
