honestly this was such a fun exercise and a distraction. i think it took me about 5 hours, mostly because i took the hard way and i wanted this piece to be a way to relax and lay back a little bit. i also had quite a share of problems while coloring…;p

its def worth trying out if you enjoy complicated, vast and rich storylines! i am a much bigger fan of danmei than other queer western media, but it’s a matter of preference

yes, it’s hard to explain by words, but the storytelling is very different - the romance is usually not the main plot, the plot itself is very vast and touching on a lot of different subjects, there is also a big focus on internal conflicts, when western media focuses mostly on external conflicts
