The Congress that forced Nixon to resign was the last “adult” Congress we had. Democracies (or specifically representative democracies) are not a sustainable form of government. Trump certainly understood that and took advantage of that.

You’re right. It is gross. Biden was a fairly effective politician and a very decent person, someone with the character to be president. But he should have announced he wasn’t running after the midterms. TOO MUCH was at stake! Democrats could NOT afford to take any chances, but they did. 🤦‍♂️
