Moving Target (1988) - Directed by Chris Thomson and Starring a very young Jason Bateman.
A NBC TV Movie Of The Week from 1988… and if that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know then… well… it doesn’t.

Too kind, but thank you.
Dies of Hypothermia whilst living in Australia. Absolutely crazy.
Big fan of this one. It’s like a TV movie of the week but with the profanity filters turned off.

“Hips and Makers” is such a great record.
I’m also pretty sure that the 12” Release of “Your Ghost” had a beautiful cover of Led Zeppelin’s “WhenThe Levee Breaks” as one of the B-Sides.
I really need to get out more.
Share a movie you’re thankful for! 🖤🦝

Incredible drawing of Meiko with a sword, kimono falling off her shoulders and exposing her back tattoo of a dragon. Behind her is coiling smoke in the shape of a black cat

It’s indicative of Hollywood Horror. It spends half its time trying to be “True To The Genre” by lacing in nods and winks to other films/franchises, just so you know that they know that they are just Horror fans too.
I don’t hate it like many do, but yeah, it’s no “classic”…

A legend amongst greats. His name may not be as immediate as Toshiro Mifune, but it ought to be.

Fangoria - Putting the Fan before the Goria.
(See what I did there, Because FANgoria, the FAN first… I don’t get paid for this).
An easy backing for this one. A magazine that helped shape my formative years.

Post something random, or else you’ll have a really shit October.
I really wish Sean Byrne made more movies. Between this, The Devil’s Candy (2016) and The Loved Ones (2009), he is yet to put a foot wrong.
Playing a bit of fantasy casting over the remake of The Bodyguard. Taylor Swift in the lead but couldn’t think of who would fill the Kevin Costner role.
I thought Riz Ahmed… but now I want him as James Bond.

I sure loves me some Cirio H. Santiago, but I’m not sure I love any of his films more than this one. Absolutely wild.

“… it was me, I discovered it, because I found some scientists that were willing to say what I want them to say for a big fat pay check. Took a while though, they kept quitting for “Moral and Ethical” reasons. Those are made up words. I don’t know what they are.”
A Manananggal (because there just aren’t enough movies about the Manananggal)…
