Just got back from A&E, with Dad. He's probably OK sort of; it's complicated.
Two things:
1. A&E is a 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 place to sober up without sleep.
2. The NHS is an amazing thing and must be defended at all costs.
Bed time.
Dad's in a shit place. Ambulance on its way. I'm drunk. Fuck my entire life.
That's the aort of optimism I like to see.
It was 20 years ago today...
The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter arrived at Mars with the best camera ever sent to another planet: HiRISE! A massive thanks to all our team @uarizona.bsky.social , JPL and @baesystems.com who keep this adventure going on strong. 😃 #uahirise
Every day the economic experts get up and are like “we think today is the day the racists will use logic”
Apparently it will be fixed by Thursday; calls diverted to mobile pro-tem. My question is: in 2026, how are crossed lines 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?
Today we have discovered that BT (or more likely Openreach) have managed to change the landline we've had for 30+ years to an entirely different number. Assuming the broadband connection must have dropped when it happened, it's been like that for over 5 days, according to the router.
Purportedly St Peter got nailed upsidedown to a bit of wood for his devotion to your particular brand of imaginary friend club. Put your martyr hat on and suck it up, or discover group video calls. That or figure out how to talk to your imaginary friend without help.

Seriously though, the sauna thing. The directors of Best Swedish Wood And Rocks Company have your face on their dartboard.
Hey. Come on. Don't make me flash you my Ankh-Morpork city watch badge. I... wait... I'm sure I have it here somewhere...
You aten't dead.
Try @aptshadow.bsky.social. He's not dead. Start with Dogs of War. Just don't read Saturation Point unless you're planning never to use a sauna again.
Gods damnit @wulfhelm.bsky.social, I've told you before: you're eligible for a pass.

I'd kind of like to have seen if Hadjar could out-qualify him, but it is gratifying to see him in the gravel, even if it wasn't really his fault. I have less animosity to Red Bull as a team now Horner and Marko are gone.
Seeing Kemi Badenoch in an armoured vehicle is like a vision from a dimension run by the Batman Who Laughs.

They still feel a bit artificial. I'm glad to see the back of DRS, and personally I'd have gone further with the active aero, but I still don't understand why they've ditched the MGU-H.
Personally I am of the opinion that the average Express hack couldn't analyse their way out of a puddle.
Mog the black cat, laying across my lap.
About to watch the F1 qualifying. In the spirit of the thing, the cat is helping me get my own hot lap in early.
