Why do you hate to lib out? And why would you frame making the most rational, sensible, straightforward point as “libbing out”?
I used to do it, believing that I was building a better experience for the players. But it’s pretty antithetical to the entire premise of what we’re doing at the table. “The dice will tell their story” is the adage that gets me through every time I consider fudging a roll. Way more satisfying.
