As a fan of the show, it’s really hard to stay dialed in when so many episodes are reposts of non-Pivot podcasts (I immediately go elsewhere). Consistency and reliability matters.

As with most studies of social psychology, there is nuance, limits to what the data can decree about ALL humans. I recommend the Hidden Brain podcast for a more thoughtful investigation of studies like these. Call me a skeptic of anyone who barrels thru an interview allowing little interjection.
Love, love Pivot. Found this interview(?) —more like a grating Jeanine Pirroesque lecture—insufferable. Kara trying to interject some semblance of rigor into an onslaught of “let me cite a study to support my reductive 2-word thesis” was painful. Why do we as humans fall 4 every quick-fix pitch?
