(take my opinions with some grain of salt though. A lot of it is outside looking in at this point since I'm not actively playing the game as much as I used to)
I also hate the argument that we shouldn't just completely kill decks. If something has been meta dominant for a long enough period of time, I think it's okay to just utterly snipe it. People got their worth out of those cards.
My biggest frustration with the banlist discussion in Digimon right now is the amount of people calling for additional pair restrictions. I truly believe that should only be used in extremely niche, emergency situations and not be commonplace. It complicates the banlist too much otherwise, imo.
