Nami had severe anxiety when we adopted her 10 years ago because her owner died and she was dumped outside for six months. It's better, but it's not gone. Little Susu was born feral (we assume) and is terrified of everyone but us. I can't even imagine how bad it is for #cats and #dogs in war zones.
KING RICHARD:
O coward conscience, how dost thou afflict me!
The lights burn blue; it is now dead midnight.
Cold fearful drops stand on my trembling flesh.
What do I fear? Myself? Thereβs none else by.
Richard loves Richard, that is, I [am] I.

I think our country sinks beneath the yoke:
It weeps, it bleeds, and each new day a gash
Is added to her wounds.
Publication of my short #PenguinMonarchs book on Henry VII on #WorldBookDay is wonderful. Enjoy the early #Tudor conspiracies, tragedies & @jodyhewgill.bsky.socialβs amazing cover painting. Thanks to the team @penguinrandomhouse.bsky.social

RIP to Jesse Jackson. His funeral is today. I wanted to share this clip from his appearance on Sesame Street in 1971. His important words ring just as true today as they did back then.
A lovely audience today for a bespoke tour of my book tie-in exhibition, βAn A-Z of Beatrix Potterβ at The Armitt Museum in Ambleside. The exhibition runs until December and I will be running another curator tour for members of the public on Friday 3 April www.trybooking.com/uk/events/la... πππ

@aljazeera.com βSpanish politician Manuela Bergerot criticised what she called the hypocrisy of supporting US and Israeli attacks on Iran while invoking feminist rhetoric, highlighting the killing of dozens of girls after a school was targeted in Minab.β
I had two tutors in a first year Lit class that mocked and scorned Disney for the entire trimester, trying to humiliate students out of loving Disney.
You canβt take the Disney out of me. Still wishing upon a star.
This is a waste of tax payers money.
RSC is staging yet another prequel 'George R.R. Martinβs Game of Thrones: The Mad King'. I could be excited but I have been annoyed at George since about 2015.

Heβs not a poor Yorick, but at least (I think) itβs amusing to keep saying βAlas, Horatio!β because now is a time of alases.
To clarify, according to the latest from the President: the US did not attack Iran because it anticipated Iran would attack it because Israel was going to attack Iran. The US attacked Iran because it forced Israel to attack Iran because Iran was going to attack Israel after the US attacked Iran.
