Took a look at SPECTRA on Steam after seeing this. Saw the words "immersive sim" and I'm immediately sold. It also just looks genuinely fun.
The art is one of the biggest reasons I wish there was a non-PVP mode. I just want to wander around and look at stuff (and listen). The art teams did great work on this title.

I would honestly appreciate if some movie/show projects would take the 'remaster' route. Not to the extent of Lucas with Star Wars, just touching up old CG and whatnot. Like, I'd love to see The Last Starfighter with modern CG for the space stuff.

I spent 2025 rewatching all of the X-Files, now it's Stargate SG1, but I've been thinking I should do Babylon 5 next, and this just feels like yet another sign.
Just go play the originals from the 90's.

Grabbed it in mid December, enjoyed it enough that I also grabbed the DLCs during the Steam holiday sale. I really like how it handles enemy encounters and balance, and its approach to exploration.

I've been playing Atomfall recently and been impressed with how it handles encounter difficulty and placement. A lot of open world games just feel overloaded, but I feel like I get a lot of time to stop and look around, while the world still feels dangerous.
Fun part is that there's cut dialogue for Nora with a military background. Probably intended to give the player the same background regardless of gender at some point.

Had a blast with the coop back in the day. I do remember the single player boss fights being a bit over-long due to just massive health pools, but this was a fun one.

I haven't seen JW rebirth, but since the trailer I've been really curious how much of the case station sequence is lifted from that book.
I feel like the movie is at least similar until InGen shows up, thats when it deviates wildly.
I'm gonna be that guy, but Lost World would have been so much better if it stuck closer to the book. It really feels like only the first 30 minutes or so are even the same story.
This is some amazingly clear footage. Not just the resolution, but the funnel staying centered and stable. Great stuff.

This is the correct answer. Cyberpunk is a literary genre first, the visuals just follow. Signalis itself doesn't fit the major literary themes, only the minor ones dealing with technology.
