Tyler Myers is going to Dallas for a 2nd Rd pick in '27 and a 4th RD pick in '29, per Pierre LeBrun.
Canucks are retaining 50%, which would seem to have juiced their return in the trade.

I don’t know who exactly needs to hear this, but being bad doesn’t always equal “rebuilding”.
Especially when that “rebuild” was triggered by your franchise defenceman and captain asking out.
Actions speak louder than words.
The last thing we heard was “hybrid retool” after a 4 game winning streak. There’s nothing out there suggesting they want to get serious about trading any non-UFA veteran.
A failure to do so means you’re “rebuilding” to get right back to the mushy middle- which is what cost them Hughes.
D Petey is going down to Abbotsford. Victor Mancini has been recalled.
So too has Nikita Tolopilo, who comes up under emergency conditions following Thatcher Demko’s injury.
