I'm ngl after experiencing so many fumbled endings in media I've sort of become... desensitized to them ig? Like I'll still be disappointed but I mostly don't let it impact the overall experience anymore.
It also makes stuff with good endings all the more special sooo I suppose it's a net positive?

like I occasionally see some some people be under the assumption that developers owe them new entries in their favorite series and/or should be forced to do it by their parent company or whatever and like... no??

this is a conversation nobody wants to have but sometimes developers are just... done with a series? whether it's because they finished the stories they wanted to tell, because don't have new ideas or because of general fatigue, they don't wanna work on em anymore and we kinda just have to accept it
