I think this is all a design choice...
If anyone is around Bevingdean (Brighton place) at 6pm tomorrow and fancies popping down to the Bevy - I'll be talking about children and AI and why that's a bad thing! www.ticketsource.co.uk/university-o...
Oh now I get it. Dubai is Golgafrinchan Ark B.
I just had a go at asking Claude to check and adjust the bibliography on a literature review (that's about the evils of letting AI near kids, yeah I know) - and spent an hour unpicking its nonsense... lucky no one's suggesting we run whole countries on this nonsense...
I had no idea, but he did seem a lovely chap - which figures!
I went to see Whitehawk FC (super low league football club) on Saturday and was chatting with a chap in a hat about the linesman... and it turned out it was David Shrigley! He thought it was offside as well...
To anyone playing Wordle - today's is a doozy
Between you and me I quite like falling asleep in films - nap time feels like it counts double in the cinema plus you get your own personalised "sleep canon" of the story. Thanks, Secret Agent for yesterday's snooze!
Left my wallet on the roof of a London cab a while back (yeah don't ask) - packed with cards, moneys , etc etc... got handed into the police station the next morning...
Bless you Maco! Let's meet up in Eastbourne sometime for a chat and to make plans!!
"Oh, I wonder what happened to this composer whose work I used to like - checks online - oh, new work - an album - what's this? Controversy? Transphobia? Supports who?" FFS. Wankers.
As a Brighton fan, can I say that this would be absolutely hysterical! The chaos would be something wonderful to behold.
The German figure is taken from a 2020 survey... the UK figure from 2026 (and based on a military force half the siz).
Worth noting that Basket Case was the one in easy reach so I ended up with a LOT of those...
Not at Audience Selection the market research company with a lot of paperwork to be dumped you wouldn't - but at the random warehouse with stashes of Zombi 2 (real shark vs zombie) and Driller Killer you would!
In the early 90s, at work, I used to deposit paper records in a warehouse. Someone had an area filled with confiscated videos and you could worm your fingers under the mesh walls and drag out pristine copies of Cannibal Ferox, Evil Dead and Basket Case. VHS gold-dust.
Well that's what I'm wondering - see how he does up to the end of the season before dipping into the transfer funds.
I wonder if yesterday was a sign not of a lack of strategic thinking but the opposite - keeping the powder dry and money in the bank for a big re-fit in the summer.
Judging by the first two episodes, they are reassuringly unwatchable.
Nice to have you back Maco...
Saw No Other Choice. It featured great edits and was good. This made me happy. Briefly.
As if Philip K Dick would ever write books about teeth... ludricous... oh.
" " John Cage doing the same.
Phil gets it.
Bovino needs to be careful about what comes out of the aircon in that lovely new office they're going to give him...
Peter!? - we thought it - YOU SAID IT!
If they gave Pulitzers for video news clips...
I came to the Sci-Fi stuff quite late - I really enjoy it - it's conceptually dense, and has a wry sense of humour running through it... GIve it a go if you can stomach the genre.
Well it seemed to work (for now)...
One of your countrymen - yeah...
