Good luck. I was bitchy about giving up my heating pad but it had helped. My forced PT trick is to find a middle aged lady who hates insurance. The younger pts donβt tend to have enough experience with chronic pain yet

So for the past 5+ years I end up with injections of roids for inflammation and experimental Prolotherapy to try and bring back stability. And very careful weight training to try and build supportive muscle around my joints.
For me the hyper mobility and super stretchy nerves and connective tissue made me over protect my neck. Apparently neck vertebrae arenβt supposed to move in all directions. I unconsciously locked my neck to hold it up because the connective tissue was like yaaa no.
Thoracic outlet leaves me with muscle spasms and weakness. Iβve got the grip strength of an arthritic grandma. As a warning PT only made it so much worse for me because over use just aggravates the nerves so much. Ice is your friend. Not heat.
Iβm 20 yrs in so by now Iβve got it as settled as I can. I doctor shopped and had to take a man with me to get anybody to listen. That sucked. Iβm still working on EDS. TikTok has helped so much learning how to manage and advocate.
Iβm sorry I have the exact same thing symptom wise going on. For me it was thoracic outlet and EDS. Iβm on a life time of massage and injection therapy. I hope they figure out whatβs up with you.
