Will we get big snow next week?

The last true "Kocin-Uccellini" type #snowstorm buried our region 9 years ago today. Now the southern states get more #snow than up north.

Here are the latest Key Messages for the Arctic blast that will deliver the coldest air-mass of the season to-date for much of the Lower 48. There is also the potential for snow squalls in the northern Rockies & Plains late week.

After the GFS lost the storm the last couple of runs it is now back on the 12z. It projects a blizzard from NYC to Boston with 1 to 2 feet. As said in our patreon.com/tristateweather video, it comes down to phasing. If it does so in time, we get the snow, if not, it will stay south and out to sea.

Just in 6z GFS and 0z euro keeping snow lovers hope alive for this coming weekend. Let's hope the rain/snow line don't become a problem for the coastal areas.
