Brayan Rocchio, but with an Italian mustache

And they just added Brayan Rocchio to their roster for the playoffs. Adding Playoff Rocchio is otherworldly levels of unfair.
I'd also have to assume his data is very specifically water consumption on site only and doesn't factor in extra power production required.
Trying to play Wiiablo with the nunchuck and remote was a slog. You can skip it.
Unfortunately the same can't be said for LLMs, where the initial training is a significantly small portion of total resource consumption vs ongoing usage of the model.
It's a pointless argument he's trying to make. He's acting like people who hate AI are like that because they're simply ignorant and that it doesn't use as much water as people say.
Of course his argument only talks about training the models and not ongoing use. It also ignores power consumption.
I'm on the fence. I don't want to see them, but I also want them to feel bad. I think it's good and proper for people to feel shame when they talk about liking AI.
Using a one-time training as a reference point for resource consumption is like measuring how much pollution a car makes by only considering what it takes to initially manufacture it.
It's also a bad faith argument to frame that since water consumption is exaggerated it must mean that the environmental impact of AI usage should be dismissed. It completely ignores the staggering power consumption (which also uses significant water) and the increased demand for rare earth metals.
A bad faith argument is framing resource consumption as something that primarily happens during model training and not as an ongoing. That's like saying it only takes 100 gallons of gas to produce a new car and then ignoring the fact that the car will burn 10,000 more gallons of gas in its life.
The firing was a decision of a local store and region manager. It'll be interesting to see if the corporate office drops the hammer on those managers or whether they support them.
Seriously, though. The parody movies only really work when they're riffing on pop culture. Aiming your movie at people in their 40s means the audience probably won't get the references or the jokes are so heavy handed they're not going to be funny.
Thankfully weird right wing reactionary movies have been super successful and have resurrected the careers of embattled actors like Rob Schneider and Gina Carano - wait *touches earpiece* I'm getting some news...
Making something to intentionally turn off your biggest audience? Masterful gambit, sir.
Consumers aren't going to see any significant relief and if they do the Democrats certainly aren't going to receive any credit for it.
Feels like it deserves a Cease & Desist at minimum
Most of those guys have been very clear about supporting Israel to every end and Israel has wanted this war for decades. Of course they're going to continue funding it and it's going to get a lot worse.
This is what people mean when they say Vote Blue No Matter Who isn't going to fix things.
I have a disabled fish I have to hand feed with long tweezers
We've been blowing up the middle east for nearly 40 years now and even when those guys were signing up we knew Vietnam was bullshit.
If you're signing up for the military in 2026 you know EXACTLY what you're doing. Either you're okay with killing brown kids for money or you WANT to.
I'm pretty sure that dude is just here to pick fights. His entire profile is nothing but trying to make people mad in the most tedious ways.
This dumbfuck doesn't even know what shitlib means.
They tell me if we vote blue no matter who everything is gonna be good again.
Unfortunately she was still dead in this one, so best you can get is IDF Wonder Woman.
I think they have utility, but that the cost of that utility is horrible and exploitive on multiple levels. I also think the utility the salesmen are marketing toward people isn't remotely close to the utility the models can actually produce, and more than they will ever produce.
I'm firmly against.
Until they start pitching teenagers in the playoffs probably nowhere else.
It's a mix of both. A lot of times the actual delivery location is determined by the driver who makes the first several deliveries to an address. Initial mistakes rarely get corrected.
The routing is really bad when you factor in private roads and parking lots also.
The legal language in nearly every state makes it impossible to charge a driverless car with any sort of crime or moving violation.
When a person breaks the law a person can be held responsible.
Do you also think war crimes don't exist if an AI orders the drone strike?
I work for FedEx and I'm pretty sure our map data comes from Google maps and there's a ton of GPS routing that tries to get us to drive the wrong way down roads or on roads that simply don't exist.
It was a good show at the time. The writing was clever and the stories were fun. Unfortunately it only felt that way because nobody else was doing it. Now that Marvel and every other big name does it it feels like Firefly is the same generic thing. It's not good if your first watch is in 2026.
