You don't have a point. Your argument is that without monetization you wouldn't be getting 'free' maps, which is speculative at best. You made it sound like EA without it would lose money, the company I might add that's viewed as one of the worst in the industry for bad practices and poor value.

Look, I'm sure you mean well and all but it's taken how many posts now for you to reach the conclusion that when you're paying full price for a game monetization is bad and its based in greed and thats not good for any consumer.

You don't need to make excuses for EA dude.

This is why so many single player games include live service, it's not to enhance the experience for the customer, its there to farm more money by hiding features,content, upgrades and 'xp boosts' behind a pay wall.

Bf6 isn't just limited to cosmetics either, tier skips, Xp boosts...its all a con.

I don't think you understand the damage that monetization has done to the gaming industry. Publishers are no longer interested in making modest profits and don't invest in developers that don't include monetization models. This is why so few independent AAA studios exist today....

You make it sound that its some kind of subsidised feature and without it they would lose money and without it poor EA would have to charge you for maps etc.
