At yesterday's update Webinar from MBIE they said the Science Investment Plan (SIP) would be released in July. So backcasting, because the SIP is to put the PMSITAC priorities into action, the priorities must be done in order to have the SIP done by then. I expect they have Budget implications so

At the LMB I worked doing RNA chemistry in the wider group that Max led. As a biologist, he would turn up in our lab at random to ask all sorts of questions to be sure he had the chemistry right. 'Plodder' feels very pejorative (and very Crick) where 'thorough' would have been better.
