Zack - please keep the party pushing for trans rights!β
As we're seeing the UK becoming more & more rancid by the day.
As those who SHOULD be getting such despicable hatred stopped seem only to be aiding and abetting it.

Please consider raising this. It is absolutely outrageous to use the NHS to justify bigotry. The immediate implications of this are terrible and the long term ones are outright horrifying - you can justify literally anything if you're allowed to skew studies like this.

And the follow up attack on trans adults www.thepinknews.com/2026/03/10/n...
Very excited to be appearing at Wembley Arena tomorrow night as part of Trans Mission.
100 per cent of the profits raised will be split between Not a Phase and the Good Law Project.

So sad, and so unnecessary. We offered a legal indemnity, against all legal risks, to the leadership of Women's Institute, and Girlguiding, so they could continue to include all women.
Both declined.
Lots of people questioning whether the King should visit the United States. I think he definitely should; to recolonise it.

I generally assume that political parties know what their constituencies think better than the rest of us do: they spend so much money on polling and focus groups.
But I would be *amazed* if they understood how viscerally they are loathed by young progressives for pushing trans people under a bus.
Good day @number10cat.bsky.social & @treasurymog.bsky.social! It's good to see you two on here! πΊ
The GovernPurr General and I would like to wish our fellow Catnadians a happy #CommonwealthDay! We also stand with our furriend and ally cat, @number10cat.bsky.social! πΊπ¨π¦π¬π§

treated image of Tony Blair, Larry Ellison, Donald Trump, Rupert Murdoch and Benjamin Netanyahu with the caption: "As Tony Blair criticises Starmer for not joining Trumpβs war, read Carole Cadwalladr on Blair, Big Tech and the Israel connection"
As the right wing press praises Tony Blair for his "rebuke" of Keir Starmer for not supporting Donald Trump's war on Iran ("We should have backed America from the very beginning."), time to re-up @carolecadwalla.bsky.social's investigation into the Tony Blair Institute

Yep! π
There's been a crossover of "experts" from autism specialities too & it's concerning that quite a few recruited into English gender services aren't trans friendly.
Which's ridiculous! You've got to, at least, have some sympathy & understanding for your patients to care for them properly FGS!
Yep! π
And what's so disturbing about this is we're seeing other conditions beginning to be less favourably treated too e.g. those on the autistic spectrum - which has a higher rate of trans & non-binary IDed people than other communities.
So, for some, there's a double whammy coming...

Hi Ash, not sure if you are more clued up about this?
Also, you can usually tell when organisations turn toxic as their "consultation" with the public becomes tokenistic.
NHSE's churn rate of trans & non-binary consultees, since 2016, when they stopped listening has been massive.
And, I don't know any stakeholders that are happy with them either...π
Helen Webberley's going to have a shot at it, via the GMC.
Flippin' good luck to her too!

Although UK gender services recognised non-binary for some years, NHSE's bureacrats didn't really recognise it until 2015.
In young people the term used was the umbrella term gender non-conforming.
I suspect, as there's no legal recognition of non-binary, NHSE et al, conveniently ignored it...π¬
The report's due out next month, according to Brady.
But it was, shockingly, short on detail for TQ people.
The VERY obvious question is - why? Perhaps that needs asking of DHSC, NHSE & Brady after it's been published.
As it whiffs of gross neglect & the basis of that's usually discrimination...

This lack of research ties in with something I tweeted on 26th February 2026.π
NHSE, DHSC & Michael Brady, who I had serious doubts about when he was appointed have failed.
Not 1 has picked up on May Govt's LGBT survey properly.
The TQ's missing & heads should roll over it.

1/𧡠I am reviewing NHS Englandβs βevidenceβ papers supporting their ban of GHAT for 16- and 17-year-olds.
Itβs hard not to see this as a deliberate and malicious attempt to manipulate the evidence base. Most notably, the scope is restricted to monotherapy or GnRH analogues.

The 34-year-old, who won last month's Gorton and Denton by-election, was helped by the police towards a waiting car after anti-transgender activists clashed with women's rights and anti-racism campaigners.
Pinching myself reading a BBC news article actually reporting anti-trans campaigners as clashing with women's rights campaigners rather than calling them women's rights campaigners
