I had the good fortunate to briefly meet Maz a few times. Gave him a box of cigars at Pirate Fest in 2015 and met him at Fantasy Camps in Bradenton, FL. I hope he is enjoying a Macanudo in heaven. RIP.

This is a very enjoyable book about the 1961 set.

I finished my 61 set last year. It was an on and off pursuit that took 30 years. Hope you finish it.

The bantering between Dave and Manny at the camps was hilarious.

I was sad to hear about the passing of Dave Giusti. I had the good fortune to meet him a number of times at the Pirates Fantasy camp (as an observer). He was great with the fans. Took this picture of him in 2011.

A diversion from my 1966 set build and 1967 chase. My first eBay Authenticity Guarantee purchase. I feel the 1960 does not get the appreciation it deserves.
