So, ASMFD gives the illusion of safety while failing to protect against a situation such as what you encountered. This case is not that wild.
Also, automation is very hard as there are so many edge cases that need to be considered, and so little time to do design and testing.
Would have ASMFD (ASM Filter Driver) prevented this problem?
