Two victims of previous school shootings — Mia Tretta, who was shot in the stomach in 2019 at Saugus High School, and Zoe Weissman, who survived the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School — are now at Brown. Gun violence is out of control in this country.
Young American men volunteer for military service, knowing they may have to sacrifice their lives for their country.
But they didn't volunteer to sacrifice their futures to protect the President or Secretary of Defense from being convicted of crimes.
That's not the service for which we thank them.
You can't logically & morally be #ProLife & #AllLivesMatter and remain silent about the genocide being committed in Occupied Palestine.

Bought myself a bidet attachment for my toilet that was installed over the weekend.

Something I JUST learned: one of the 1st Black female mayors in the entire U.S. (she was 2nd by 2 yrs) is a woman named Lelia Foley who was elected mayor of Taft, Oklahoma (about 35 mins south of Tulsa) in 1973 at the age of 30.
She just turned 83 Friday.
Note: This is the Senate Democratic Whip.
The person responsible for exercising caucus discipline and encouraging Senators to stand together for caucus priorities.
