Hey-hey, way to go! ππ₯³π I always have a ton of tabs open, too, and in case anyone sees your thread but doesn't quite yet want to give up the ghost on their tabs, then I humbly suggest One Tab: www.one-tab.com I've been using it for a few years now and it's great! π
Brown and black cartoon drawing of Tony Stark from the movie Iron Man who is standing, arms wide, with his back to a distant mountain range that is exploding from a salvo of missiles.

I've always known it as "Donner," but apparently throughout history it's been both:

This week, a trio of conversations that track the history of animation in my lifetime, and my life in animation. Act I: Acid Tab Cartoons. Act II: Looking Like SpongeBob. Act III: Saving Nimona. These stories come from Between Imaginary Worlds, which is available to listeners who pledge on Patreon.
From Smithsonian description: "This ambitious chart presents U.S. political history on a single page. Moving from left to right, a timeline of parties, policies, persons, and events courses like a river through graphic space marked in four-year intervals. The analogy between politics and springs and rivulets (that jump and rejoin their banks) is the most conspicuous feature of the timeline. The parties appear in different colors. The ascendance of a party is gauged as its stream rises above the centerline, and above the streams of other parties. The thickness of a stream indicates the partyβs strength. The diagram is meant to dramatize U.S. political history in a more accessible shape for educators and to offer a ready reference for scholars, statisticians, and statesmen. The chart itself, titled βDiagram of the Rise and Fall of American Political Parties, from 1789 to 1880, inclusive,β is from the Conspectus of the History of Political Parties and the Federal Government, by Walter R. Houghton, 1880"
Absolutely incredible graphic from 1880 tracing the history of political parties in the United States.
So long as youβre not trying to make a living off it, art doesnβt have to be good.
It just has to be yours.
Congratulations, the universe sent you this dog because you have been chosen. Joy awaits. 13/10
But wait, there's more!
Villains' Vignettes: Volume II (Villains' Code #3.5) is out today on kindle! As with Volume I, these stories will play a part on the main series.
Though I may have added a *bit* more world lore for Volume II π

An example and a shameless plug to go read my comic, A Very Day!
In space, Venus flanks Earth on the left, with a hellfire greenhouse effect. Mars on the right, which long ago had running water. Today, it's bone dry. Something bad happened on each planet.
Seems like the wrong time to limit the Nationβs capacity to conduct climate research.
The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff.

Microsoft 360 decided to send me a customer survey.

Oh that is fantastic! Whenever I remember to put out bird seed in front of our window--my wife and I call it tuning in Kitty TV. But I *love* that your feline friends found their passion for syndication! π
It's hard not to love the Kitty TV πΈ
Finished the first page of the sketchbook! Which part is your favorite? Mine is the tortoise, but I may be a bit bias lol.

This is a really quick sketched comic. It goes like this: Panel 1: a sketch of me, hair tied up in s ponytail, bored face. "It was brought to my attention that the readers are wondering if Charlie's new trousers have pockets. So I'm here to clarify some things." Panel 2: my pointing at Charlie, looking nice, and with her hands in her pockets. "Firstly, of COURSE it has pockets! Are you kidding me!?" Panel 3: me pointing at a placed panel from page 77 of the webcomic, where Leopold takes a potion from his pocket. "Secondly, you should remember that even Leo's yoga pants have pockets!" Leopold is at the corner of the panel, saying "yoga?" Panel 4: a cute Robin, hands on her dress' pockets. Me, screaming "you know what? So does Robin's cute dress!!" Panel 5: i have my finger up, closed eyes, and say "as a matter of fact..." And Boopsie is there, eyes wide, smiling maniacally, saying in a spellcasting voice "ALL CLOTHING SHALL HAVE POCKETS! IT IS THE LAW!"
A really important matter on this week's Side Quested.

For those wondering about Tavern Wenches, that my webcomic I made! Did the website with Hugo and NetlifyCMS. I have an example project of what I did to build a comic site using Hugo over at github.com/sfrisk/webco... if you ever want to check it out.
@davekellett.bsky.social do you know of this critter? π
