Covered Jar by Samantha
Finding your artistic voice/style is still a question I see a lot. What I’ve noticed through my own journey is you’ve often found your voice long before you realize it. It becomes the path of least creative resistance.
We fired up our small test kiln with a load of beads, a few 6 inch tiles, and some small flat test tiles. Very pleased with the results.
Hip Hip Hoorah! We harvested a bowl of figs. For us this is score. We pulled out one of Bruce’s bowls to spread them out on.
Inside our pottery shop. We are located 5 miles south of the town of Seagrove. There are over 50 pottery shops located around 15 miles from each other. Great place to visit for all kinds of pottery.
Bulldog Pottery is located in Seagrove, NC. We are open Tuesday-Saturday from 10-5. If coming on a Sunday or Monday call to make sure we are open. We are looking forward to seeing you! Our shop is full of wonderful functional and decorative pottery .

Blueberry season

Samantha is making covered jars this week in the studio. Now that they are dry enough she is trimming the lids and the bottom half of the jar. Next will be throwing the knobs for the lids.

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.
