Voters lapped it up, the Greens lost much of the vote and now the (center?) right gvmnt revels in scaling back and destroying all legacy decisions of the former gvmnt. It‘s a nightmare.

This is in part the fruit of a relentless onslaught of Germany’s biggest rw populist tabloid „Bild“, which suceeded in framing the decarbonization efforts of the Green Economy secretary as an expropriation of the „small man“, taking away their right to install new, polluting, expensive gas heating.
