I reaaaaally hope this is true. Dude killed it with PIG and then made one of the best films of 2024 with Quiet Place Day One. Would love to see what he did with Alien, particularly if he maintained the practical effects focus of the previous film.
Looks great!

Accidentally started scrolling alternate-reality Bluesky again
Life is one big banana peel on the floor, and BUDDY, you better believe my stupid fucking foot is always right on that damn thing.
A screenshot of Cronos The New Dawn where John Cronos is staring down at a picture of a kitty cat and some cat toys on/near a pile of boxes.
Enjoy playing through 'Cronos: The New Dawn' quite a bit, but best of all, it's got big 'This was made by cat owners' energy, which works great for me, a cat owner.
One of the worst ideas of all time giving this one a demo. I played it for 5 minutes, realised it was total ass, and never thought about the game again.
Bring it to Nintendo Switch and I'll be your beeesssst friend.
Oh right.
Yoshi is played by WHO!?
A preview image for a Hoppers cinema cup topper, featuring a large, reasonably detailed figure of the meme lizard pressing on a phone.
The actual cup in person, featuring a tiny, badly sculpted meme lizard, with even the wrong hand raised up compared to the preview picture.
Seems like a...slight mis-sell.
OOOH?
It's giving Resident Evil photograph item vibes.
This is a very specific scenario

Watched THE BRIDE.
A total mess, and mostly not in a fun way, sadly. Way too many ideas at play, none of them working, and whilst the directing is good and the performances committed, it's not enough to save a film with terribly planned out foundations.
He wants to make the mildest, least daring films possible. He really is working for Disney.
Rocco Botte from Mega 64, posing in front of a door that says 'It's Good to Be a Guy'.
International Women's Day over.
They got Womens, in the international capacity now!?
It's an underrated entry in the series for sure. Great setting, fun characters, enjoyable historical setting/context. Got a grapple hook thingy. Good stuff.
One of the greatest things you can do in commercial art, particularly ones aimed towards younger audiences, is make someone feel seen. If you can't picture/tell a story with queer/marginalised characters that's also relatable to everyone? You're clearly not very good at your job, and should sod off.

Played through 'Planet of Lana II' and largely really dug it.
A breathtaking visual experience with great, ambitious, non-dialogue based storytelling.
The puzzle-platforming can be frustrating at points, but mostly this is just a fun and memorable ride. Check it out!
It's always Caturday when you have a cat. They expect no less.
Thanks!
It's cheaper than buying an actual one!

Also saw 'Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man'.
Less a feature-length spin-off of the series as is is just a big budget epilogue. But it delivers in that regard. Stylish as hell, great music, strong performances, and a memorable finale for one of modern TVs greatest shows
