Middle school didn’t give you the full truth, which is that lots of voters aren’t that bright/engaged/educated. Such as people who had a choice between Trump and *anybody* and helped let Trump win, be it out of laziness, unrealistic expectations, or just spite.

No, that’s disingenuous. Clinton and Biden were chosen by the voters to be the D nominee. Harris was not, but it was what it was.
Your ‘perfect candidate’ probably could not have won. Who was your perfect candidate, btw, since no one else seems to suit you?

Some are; some aren’t. Dems in solid Blue states (such as mine) have far more latitude to do so. Some D’s you may not like at least kept a seat out of R hands. In NC, KY, AZ and such places, that’s reality.
Politics is this way. Perfect is the enemy of possible.

Then you should run for office, instead of passively complaining. Even on a local or state level, elections matter.

If you want different Democrats, get out and vote for them. They ‘don’t lose their jobs’ because of who votes - and who doesn’t bother to.
You act as if you have no agency in any of this.

A good rule of thumb is to go out and vote for anyone opposing Trump.
If you didn’t, then fascism is very much on you.

The election was decided in seven states, where swing voters factored heavily. That is reality.
