My wife assures me he will die this Sunday, the Ides of March. She didn’t say how, though.

Nah, Trump’s not scared or anything.

Good Lord, he *bobbed*? Did he do it in a tan suit? And was he *bobbing* while signing a treaty in which Iran agreed to halt nuclear weapons work and agree to rigorous inspections?

He's desperate to recapture his grandiosity, so going to a place where his sycophants - or, as a WaPo headline flub recently said, his "sicko fans" - will give him the psychic energy he craves. But it won't last.

"Personal values"?
I order food; they bring me food. Personal values are not part of the transaction.

My wife just told me that Trump is scheduled to die on Sunday - March 15, the Ides of March, which are close upon us. So the Undertaker music would be poetic justice.

Agreed. She will be a fixture on Fox News. I bet she might also run for Governor or Senator of NH.
But once Trump dies, I think the Maga movement will descend into civil war and they'll mostly be fighting each other.

Leavitt hovering in the back like the assisted-living health aide.

They are clearly elevator shoes as well.

Bone spurs are notorious for flaring up in situations like that.
Has anyone actually ever seen Trump on a boat? I can't think of any instance of that.

Lucky as well. Work is 2 miles away from home. Many of my colleagues live much farther away and will be squeezed that much more.

I also think lots of people vote for the devil they know, which is why Fox News spends so much time demonizing D’s.
And thank you for your work in NC!

11.03.2026 04:14 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Why? Running is hard. Mamdani is the counterpoint. Jeffries wouldn’t endorse the D in his own city.

But the middle school version is quite tidy and oversimplified, to be sure.

11.03.2026 03:47 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Middle school didn’t give you the full truth, which is that lots of voters aren’t that bright/engaged/educated. Such as people who had a choice between Trump and *anybody* and helped let Trump win, be it out of laziness, unrealistic expectations, or just spite.

11.03.2026 03:46 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0

No, that’s disingenuous. Clinton and Biden were chosen by the voters to be the D nominee. Harris was not, but it was what it was.
Your ‘perfect candidate’ probably could not have won. Who was your perfect candidate, btw, since no one else seems to suit you?

11.03.2026 03:43 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Some are; some aren’t. Dems in solid Blue states (such as mine) have far more latitude to do so. Some D’s you may not like at least kept a seat out of R hands. In NC, KY, AZ and such places, that’s reality.
Politics is this way. Perfect is the enemy of possible.

But thanks for Trump. That sure showed everbody!

What a cop-out that is.

Then you should run for office, instead of passively complaining. Even on a local or state level, elections matter.

11.03.2026 03:32 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0

If you want different Democrats, get out and vote for them. They ‘don’t lose their jobs’ because of who votes - and who doesn’t bother to.
You act as if you have no agency in any of this.

A good rule of thumb is to go out and vote for anyone opposing Trump.
If you didn’t, then fascism is very much on you.

The election was decided in seven states, where swing voters factored heavily. That is reality.
