Dear President Trump, I just wanted to ask that if Russia took back Alaska (they owned it until 1867 after all), oh and maybe Seattle as well for good measure, and Europe told you that for the sake of peace they should keep it, you would be OK with that?

This is the big difference between USA & UK college sports! In the UK, college sports is rarely reported - sure they play each other, to crowds of 20 (except maybe Oxford vs Cambridge). Never on TV, little investment…. yet can still produce world class players, with conduits into professional clubs.

I’m actually pretty happy when people disagree with me. As long as the debate is on the issue, not the person, then that’s how we thrash out the next set of great ideas.
On farm inheritance, let’s remind those spouting “sky falling” the facts. 73% of farms are unaffected. Ones with large tax bills are small %. I agree tough for some in £1-2m value range. Solution should be to make farming more profitable (stop supermarket fixing), rather than continue tax loopholes.
