Here, gardeners say it's only really safe to plant after Derby Day - always the first Saturday in May.
I'm so sorry, Colin. My prayers for all the lives your friend touched.
@delaneykirk.bsky.social Thinking the reason she was reassigned was because she was getting more air time than DT.
Someone on the other site said Mullin couldn't spell DHS. May be correct.
We're no more than a few hours away from the next phase of digital propaganda: unverified videos of "liberated people celebrating" will go viral. Many of these videos will later be revealed to have predated the illegal war, or be entirely unrelated to current events
Upshot: verify before amplifying
We never ironed tea towels, but ours were terrycloth and perhaps not so suitable for such. I have ironed pillowcases and top sheets, which are great when first used. I have ironed jeans, but not so much anymore. They're hung by the cuffs for last bit of drying, so not as wrinkled.
Yay Oxford! We're supposed to reach 13 Celsius today - quite a change from the weekend. Still no flowers, though.
Personally don't like the practice, but it's common here. I asked the funeral home guys To close Mom's casket before friend and I entered the church (we were last). They wouldn't do it at Dad's funeral so I stayed outside. Not the way I wanted to remember them.
Ironed tea towels? We're they displayed or stored in a drawer or other place where folks couldn't see them?
Came across this bit of British home history, which I present for your entertainment @theabingdontaxi.bsky.social @margueritek.bsky.social @theyorkest.bsky.social . Did people really do this? youtu.be/8CpeEdrne6Q?...

Nice now, but we shan't get comfy before Winter II arrives this weekend:
Sorry.
Temperatura reading of 70Β°
@margueritek.bsky.social We're in the "false spring" right now. Also, just spotted a man wearing a short-sleeved Willie Nelson t-shirt. Long may Willie be with us.
And you lived to tell. Whole new respect for Kias.
Looks like a subway stop in NYC.
Now we know.
Thank you, Colin.
@theabingdontaxi.bsky.social @margueritek.bsky.social If you would, please pray for Greg and his family. Yesterday, during a dialysis treatment, his dad died (age 65). Greg's such a kind person and he's stunned. He has yet to let himself cry because of the kids + getting all the funeral stuff ready.
Appreciated your interpretation of the AG performance. My first waking thought this morning was "He's still corrupting women."
Those claws though.
Packages traveling from points north to Louisville seem to just sit at the postal sort center. Last one was there over a week. I would've driven over and picked it up had they called!
