This was our family dog, Wrigley. He was about 140 lbs.; he was the gentlest giant, unless you were a hot air balloon; he always “wore” his socks; and he was the best at communicating. He passed away a few years ago & I miss him every day.

I took this in our backyard several years ago when Phoenix was actually kinda chilly in the winter. It used to get enough at night that jackets were actually necessary and cozy fires were a pleasant delight.

That’s way too hot! I remember growing up in Phoenix and having fires outside during the Super Bowl because it was cold, or having zero hour in high school and not being able to feel my hands because it was 30° out. I moved away from Phoenix to escape the heat, but it followed me 😭

It’s so weird hearing everyone talking about being ready for winter to be over while we’re sitting here in Flagstaff having barely gotten any snow all winter. It was about 60° F yesterday, about 15° warmer than the average high. If we don’t get snow soon, the fires this summer could be devastating.
