seconding watch taskmaster, it's public platonic kink in the same way but with more active queerbaiting (acknowledging rpf fic, kissing on screen, sex jokes).
i would like to cheerlead maybe? if it's terror/st and isn't noncon.
cancelled my capybara tattoo because I am not well enough so if anyone in Sydney wants a stick and poke Felix (pocketgrubs) at Little Planet Tattoo will have an 11am opening this Tuesday.
this travelogue has become depressing sorry. I am fatigued but the actual illness is almost cleared up.
sunday: still sick! masked up and went to a protest for Palestine but have had to dip out once they started marching because i simply do not have the energy. cancelled everything else.
saturday: bed rest. it's not covid at least (tested last night and this arvo) and the worst asthma symptoms have subsided without needing the hospital, just feels like a head cold now.
friday: a day marie kondoing several bags of clothes with @okayjokesover.bsky.social - supposed to go to a comedy gig but I'm not up to it. gonna be a little baby in the hotel room and pray this is just a hardcore asthma flare and I'm not actually sick. ๐ฅบ
woke up today very asthmatic (Sydney!!! ๐ค) and missing my husband and cat so so so so bad
thursday: kbbq at Yass with my brother and his gf (which was a great time) followed by a few drinks and then OBEX at the Dendy. boxd.it/9Utu0J

Wednesday: eating the best meal of my life at HACO Sydney, like I am having an out of body experience and it's not just the flight of sake

It's the plane window sunset innit
tuesday: plane window sunset; then some bottomless frites with the folks, at Parlour.
It's the cover of Billie Piper's pop album from 1998, Honey to the B.
All these people saying they're not sure if she'll be a good 16 have missed that actually 16 was her artistic high point.
I would love that!! hang on i will dm you schedule dates nonsense
idk why Sydney has two simultaneous festivals in June but it's great for me. I think I'm doing more in those first two weeks than I did when I lived there.
excited excited excited
yessss love this for you! I actually also think you might *love* TGCF/Heaven Official's Blessing, by the same author, but there isn't a fun live action version (yet). mainly bc the romance is very king/lionheart and the setting is much more of a "spans the whole world and beyond!" epic than MDZS.
yeah, I had a real come to jesus moment in about 2018/2019 where I realized I was actively doing lateral violence to another autistic person because they were loudly embodying all the things I had learned to suppress in my life and I was trying to correct and silence them. felt like my mother.
oh that's fair enough! I think i misread that you didn't like the character Hannibal (very correct) and I was mostly responding to your tweet that was like "I don't get what will sees in hannibal". didn't mean to correct you on your opinion of the show itself
this colour looks so good on you!
oh sorry
basically what I'm saying is it's not that Hannibal is particularly appealing to Will, it's that Hannibal is his primary psychologist and a master at cult-tactics abuse which he directs at Will for years, and literally anybody would end up the same (if they were his target).
I mean I thought the point of the show was that Will definitely doesn't like Hannibal, Hannibal just abuses and gaslights him for two seasons until Will capitulates because it's the only way to meaningfully save lives? but maybe I watched it wrong.
bg3? yes! highly rec my friend tuffgreg if you want some good weird gale/astarion tho
been reading a lot of agatha christie lately so binge watching the residence was particularly gratifying, what a show
Was just talking up this story tonight and saying it felt more relevant than ever these days, so this article made me think of it too! Love that story, and C M Machado's Eight Bites.
