if I have to look a word up to use it I can guess that others do too. So that doesn’t make sense to me.

I think I have a pretty good idea of how some (not all) of the world works. My point is that if we want a better and less toxic environment we have to break the patterns and instead offer better alternatives.

Well, one suggestion is to avoid name calling and instead offer what he would do if in their position. He might have said he would stand strong and not yield to bullying. he would call for X and reject Y. You don’t need to call people cowards to show you’re not one.

I am tired of the politics of attacking others with names, and genuinely disappointed that you're doing more of this. You may have good reason to, but I had hoped that a new kind of politics meant more productive and decent ways of communicating. Or we just keep repeating the same old toxicity.

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.
