That's actually what got me to go to this same conference in 2023 even though I was nervous about traveling post-2020 - I got to see Gaelynn Lea do a concert and a talk as part of the conference. π€―π€©
In my (fortunately) limited experience, what makes me want to fling my laptop out the window is that it's *relentless* with the "not x. not y. just z." and the short lines with soft returns and shit, and really dealing with that would be out of scope for copyediting, so ????

I've had a few universities try to get me to accept a payment method with a processing fee, but there were other options. I accept credit cards when clients are paying out of pocket, but not having a fee is supposed to be the trade-off for taking months to get paid. π©
