I'm very confident that's true! I think what scares me the most of the minefield of scammy/weird solutions specially on the payment side. Don´t want my customers to have to go through a payment site that looks like scam mcscamface
I don´t have the mental bandwidth for this now, but really want to look into self-hosting my work/art and do payment processing through a High-Risk Merchant processor that won't have a stroke at the thought of the word "porn" appearing on screen. Not having to rely on Platforms would be great.
Sounds so weird that it makes you wonder if they came to the digis, then had afterglow guilt and decided to make things worse for everyone else.
