Well-monied interests--from both US-based and foreign sources--are crowding out the voices of most Americans without limits. This is the direct result of a Supreme Court decision passed in 2010: Citizens United v FEC. Overturning this decision is necessary to restoring democracy.

Solar hit a record high ~64%, and gas was a record low ~4% of new US generation in 2024! Storage was ~20%, wind ~9% & nuclear ~3%.

Denmark is our NATO ally. They're also an incredibly tiny country — 7 million citizens. So this is classic bullying behavior, singling out the smallest in the yard for attack.

I'm a fan (joined yesterday). If you like X or liked Twitter, this is pretty similar, but with no ads! I used the sky bridge browser extension to import my following list from X. Bsky lets you choose your own algorithm/curation approach for what you see in your feed, which is great.

I'll never forget meeting David Lynch at a conference on transcendental meditation at University of Washington, which I snuck into with friends (2005 or so). He described how to overcome the "suffocating rubber clown suit of negativity."
