Families fear loved ones won’t get last rites as Galway hospital cuts chaplain service
A Catholic diocese has criticised a hospital for reducing chaplaincy services amid fears the last rites won’t be available to those who die at night.
Diocesan spokesman Fr Diarmuid Hogan told the Irish Independent that #Galway diocese is “deeply aware of the upset caused to patients, families and staff when the spiritual and pastoral care they rightly expect is unavailable”. bit.ly/49T8l1t
