Starting over is, but at least it's not as abrupt forced shift like the Tumblr > Twitter migration. This one can be better planned.

Crossposting to multiple platforms is more beneficial than dedicating to one! Plus this site works similar to tumblr, tags aren't hindered, its encouraged. That's how you help your discoverability. Rebuilding a following on a new platform is def tough, but worth it in the long-term.

Its sad we'll see a influx for a couple days and people immediately jumping back to twitter and dealing with such a negative algo instead of crossposting to rebuild their following here x-x
