I think Labour knew they were toast as soon as they blocked Burnham from standing. I just suspect they thought Reform would win, which I genuinely believe they would have preferred.

Well considering heβs Jewish. Doubt it will be successful.
Dear @lucympowell.bsky.social,
I have enjoyed our exchange of letters about which of our parties is best placed to stop Reform. Hannah Spencer MP and I trust that you agree that this question has now been resolved once and for all.
Thanks,
Zack Polanski
They also canβt really play the anti semitic game with him, the way they did with Corbyn.
I see Keirβs present advisor is as bad as McSweeney.
Or perhaps you put party before individual.
You canβt have a βbroad leftβ agenda whilst you pursue a far right immigration policy.
Or Labour could just keep the same captain who has already hit the iceberg and hope the ship doesnβt sink.

Green Menaces - letβs go. π
Huge huge thanks to everyone whoβs backed this campaign and shown it so much love.
Now we leave nothing on the pitch. Letβs get this over the line.
Vote Green.

Good. Itβs going to be interesting to see if they still keep moving further to the right.
Iβm curious if you think had they allowed Burnham to stand if he would have won?
Iβm not sure I think this is fair or accurate. By the time kids become teenagers, itβs safe to say that their peers have far more influence on them than their parents.
Whatβs your moral dimension here, exactly?
I get the distinct impression that the Labour Party would rather Reform win the seat than the Greens.
I wonder if it would push the Labour Party to the left? I have my doubts.
He has me blocked. Must be something I said. π€·π»ββοΈ
Honestly, the Labour Party are their own worst enemy.
Who is saying that?
Telling me the Greens are like Reform wonβt make me think that the Greens are like Reform, itβll make me think youβre desperate. And morons.
For pensioners, you get your free bus pass at age 60 in Scotland.
Wow. I didnβt know this. My autistic son (heβs 25) has had a disability bus pass for many years. It allows him and one carer (usually me) to travel by bus for free ANYWHERE in Scotland. Itβs been fantastic for us.
Donβt over 60βs and disabled people get free bus passes in England?
They do in Scotland.
We have had this in Scotland for many years.
The interesting thing about this is that had Labour allowed Burnham to stand, they would be well in front of the Greens and Reform.

Anyone else perplexed by all the Zionists who are enraged by the Epstein files? Do they genuinely not understand Epsteinβs connection to Israel?
You either support the Israeli state and how it acts, or you donβt.
Itβs not some kind of pick and mix.
Someone want to explain to me why a happy and successful producer working on the set of her incredibly popular TV series, would suddenly commit suicide?
Israeli producer of 'Tehran' TV series found dead in Athens hotel, police officials say reut.rs/4bTHZ25
Zack Polanski, "When Nigel Farage says jump, Labour ask, how high. You will never appease the right, they will just get more extreme"
"In Reform UK we see an extreme political party"
The police. Unless you are saying that if you have enough money and power you can break every law.
The SNP in its present form is most definitely NOT interested in independence. They donβt have the gravitas or the will to achieve it. The status quo suits them perfectly. They can just keep dangling the Indy carrot to win elections.
