Finished work for the week, lost my voice (no cheering at the back!) and a few days to recover before heading to a castle library for larp on Friday.
Bring on the toy soldiers to get ready for an event next month!
Last few bases arriving tomorrow, movement trays and more bases probably early next week.
Thats about 2.4k of Old World Warriors of Nurgle done here. Once the basing is sorted, then no more excuses and I have to start painting for next month

Got half an hours worth of painting done yesterday, first time picking up a brush in 12-18 months I think.

Me, going into Games Workshop intending to just grab a few pots of paint.
Different horse colours and change up the "horses" caparison and you're good to go I think once helmets and swords get changed.
For conversions?
Just sword replacement swords for everyone instead of hammers, and possobly a head change or two.
Then sort something for a musician.
Theres one more to build tomorrow and then check my Lord fits in the unit :)

Got them ranked up for the Old World, just need to tweak them for variety now.
Might have to buy some rotswords tomorrow if I can.

I just need the older style Deathmask helmets to arrive in the post, and the first 3 are essentially done, bar a bit of gap filling.
Really happy with these avenging angels! Could easily see this jumping from a 1k to 2k army now.

I always felt that the Arbites needed an Ed-209 style support walker, and then as if by luck, the Imperial Army in 30k received the Aethon Heavy Sentinel.
With a suitably large base, it's as good as a match (some detailing on the base will sort that)
Need the autocannon to arrive in the post now!

The Melta probably needs scaling back a little, but I think this hits the mark for extreme riot suppression for the army.

Browsing the shelves today buying bits and realised the Aethon isn't too dissimilar to an Armiger in size.
