The way that the original PCjr release of King's Quest (1984) draws and then 'paints in' each scene element in the same way that golf games and graphic text adventures often do due to technical limitations is very pleasing to watch.
"This movement speed percentage would be enough to reach the castle from spawn in 3 minutes!"
"This dexterity boost will make you more likely to be hit by lightning than you are to miss an attack!"
I wish games with gear that alters your stats by certain percentages had some kind of visualizer to help you understand what those numbers actually mean. Like "This damage increase would be enough to kill the Hurgler in 16 hits, or 8 Shitty Imps in 1 hit!"
I guess this is just something I do every Saturday now.

One of my biggest pet peeves about the "knows too damn much about one specific game" community (of which I'd like to consider myself part!) is when people call an entire game's codebase "broken" because one extremely niche combination of inputs will produce the most harmless glitch you've ever seen.
