Teen is at Queens this weekend visiting his girlfriend. Apparently St. Patrick's Day is a pretty big deal there, all kinds of stuff going on in Kingston today.

Northern Flicker must be feeling hungry. He came into the bird feeder to try his beak at knocking open some peanut shells.
The snow has stopped now but my street still looks pretty crappy. Sidewalk's good though.
I didn't think this was supposed to start until later but apparently it will be done by noon.
I've read about a few people getting that call late at night. How weird!
It would be funny if his actual name were Theo.
I'm thinking of growing leeks this year. They're expensive to buy, but do freeze well.
So 'Interrupter clause' has kicked in a couple times this week for gas. I would think that heating oil is up now too?
This is why we love you right?
This wasn't just like walking on the grass between your house and the neighbour's and they stepped your property, it's climbing on your roof, kind of a big deal IMO. I'm betting they broke some rules to do that. If they fell through or damaged something, all on them I think because they didn't ask?
I would still call them, they've got to have documented process for this sort of thing even if just to protect themselves, they don't really GAF about you I'm sure.
What if you knew a part of your roof were rotten or something and they stepped on the wrong part or damaged it further? Major liability on their part IMO to climb up there and do stuff without even talking to you first. At the very least, rude.
Are you in a semi where you share a roof? Or they're randomly on your separately roof?
I'm guessing HRM wasn't aware this was coming either if the state of the roads in my area is any indication.
A deer just went across the street from my yard. He has three legs, wonder what happened there? Seems to run just fine.
This does not look nice. What is light blue?
But we're glad it wasn't a permanent situation!
Not sure! That's the only place I've ever been that has them (I have not been in Western Canada much). They're noisy birds though!
We were in Calgary on the weekend, saw lots of magpies there.
Hahaha, I've walked into Costco before and realized that my socks, underwear, shirt and pants were all Costco (they don't sell bras my size there, otherwise those would be Costco too!).
Hahahaha, nailed it.
I watched the YouTube video of this earlier today, very interesting. I did wonder what they'd do with the wreckage they dug up, did not expect them to rebury them in the sand!
Yes, I thought the 'last year' comment might have been out there too. ๐คฃ
"Didn't this happen last year?"
Aww that sucks. Sending healing thoughts to send it on its way quickly.
Haha! Even now after I've had a bit more food today, I'm still not functioning 100%, neither brain nor body.
I'm not sure how you function like that. I must have picked up a stomach bug on my weekend travels, didn't eat much of anything between lunch yesterday and lunch today. Without any food in me I felt all wobbly, like absolute garbage. Even a few crackers brought back some life.
Wow.
I was at an event at the University of Calgary last weekend, got a parking ticket in a campus lot. How much would a ticket on a university campus be here in Halifax? I was surprised that it was $80 (the lot I parked in was $6 for the day). Ticket was reversed since I HAD paid and had the receipt.
SailGP isn't? Or no one else is getting that much?
